Account Executive/Commercial Insurance Sales - Property & Casualty Upper Northeast Region

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Commercial Insurance Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for acquiring new clients, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and providing them with tailored commercial insurance solutions. This role involves understanding clients’ business risks, offering suitable coverage options, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, prospect, and engage potential clients for commercial insurance products through networking, referrals, and outbound marketing efforts.
  • Evaluate the specific insurance needs of businesses, including general liability, property, workers’ compensation, commercial auto, and other coverage options.
  • Present and explain insurance policies and coverage options to clients in a clear and concise manner, ensuring they understand their choices and the benefits.
  • Design and recommend customized insurance solutions based on clients’ needs, industry risks, and legal requirements.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, providing ongoing support, policy reviews, and adjustments to coverage as needed.
  • Ensure all client interactions, sales, and policies comply with state and federal insurance regulations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the company’s Agency Management System.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes to provide competitive and compliant solutions.
  • Work closely with underwriters, account managers, and other internal departments to ensure seamless service to clients.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals, contributing to the overall growth of the company

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in commercial insurance sales
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, including general liability, property, workers’ compensation, and professional liability
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with business owners and decision-makers
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Proficient in using Agency Management System software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • State insurance license

Lead Generation Specialist

We are currently hiring a Lead Generation Specialist to join our team. This role involves contacting both warm and cold leads to support our outside and inside sales teams. The position offers a hybrid work schedule based out of our office in Cornelius, NC.

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, persistent individual with a strong work ethic, a passion for helping others, and excellent people skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and research potential leads through various channels, including online databases, social media, industry events, and referrals
  • Initiate contact with potential clients through cold calling, emailing, and social media outreach
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and qualification details in our Agency Management System
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads for sales team
  • Schedule appointments or follow-up calls for the sales team, as necessary
  • Provide accurate and timely information to management
  • Develop a strong knowledge of the company’s products and services to facilitate the sales process

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication (verbal and written)
  • Experience with cold calling
  • Experience with research and maintaining databases
  • Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong project and time management skills
  • Ability to connect, establish trust, and gain agreement from prospects via telephone and email
  • Experience in insurance sales and service environment is a plus
  • Experience in using Agency Management System is a plus
